Pros
The patients are lovely and some good coworkers.
Cons
If you get injured on the job worker’s comp will ghost you and leave you with a hospital bill to pay off yourself. On top of this, there is no contact for HR or Worker’s Comp so you cannot even try to get in contact with them. There is also no room for growth. You will constantly be put in unsafe working conditions with poor staffing ratio and incompetent coworkers. Most of the people working there do not care about psych patients and just want an “easy” job because they’re burnt out from bedside nursing and think they’ve “done their time.” 90% of the people that work there hide in the nurse’s station all shift just watching tik toks or answering facetime calls in patient areas. The whole place is a walking liability and a risk to any licensed individual.
