Sales Dev operates in a start up manner now, constant organizations changes and lack of structure despite the years of establishment. Promotions are consistently pushed for months, with no guarantee of open head count for the next position. Common to see people go through the entire process who hit all the metrics and not make it to the next role. Not a lot of upward mobility, no transparency to keep you hooked. Zero consideration for employee's hard work and ethics, will capitalize on this and make feel you trapped- always forced to adapt to change, and when you prove your ability to overcome adversity they will use this against you since, "you have a proven track record of remaining successful." Fear based tactics, layoffs always looming over your head. The company has drastically changed over the course of the tenure for the worse. There is a lack of strong leadership, and clear organizational issues that severely affect performance are never fully addressed. People will refuse to work with you, and pigeon hole you in certain areas that will not set you up for success. Success is extremely dependent on the team you are on, not equitable at all. If you are well liked, your voice is heard more. Otherwise, they'd rather see you leave the company than actually listen to your concerns. The environment is very controlling, and looks as it will only continue to increase.
