High stress levels, low salary, no career advancement - Associate Project Manager RWS Group Employee Review

Pros

You will encounter some nice colleagues

Cons

In my location at least, workloads were generally high (and increasing), while salaries were low (and barely increasing at all) and did not meet industry or country standards. Levels of stress are high, with several employees suffering from burnout, anxiety, etc and some even quitting. Very little effort was made for employee retention, at least in my location. For example, if you were in Western Europe, it was much harder to get any career advancement or salary increases. Most opportunities and promotions went to employees in Eastern Europe (e.g. Czech Republic office), even in cases when they were less experienced/qualified and had a lesser knowledge of the clients, requirements, etc.

Pros

Excellent place to gain hands-on experience with AI/ML training data workflows. The project guidelines are very clear and structured.

Cons

The work is highly repetitive and sitting for long hours requires deep focus. Deadlines are tight with strict weekly accuracy quotas.

Pros

Decent paying side job, flexible hours

Cons

Absolute nightmare to get paid. You WILL have to complain in order to get paid, and you will most likely have to complain more than once in order to get the answer you need. I still haven't been paid for work done months ago! Everyone that reads this with a similar issue needs to do what I did and bring it to the attention of the state labor boards.
