Pros

Excellence is recognised and rewarded. Progression and targets are achievable. Working with some of the best talent in the marketplace. Social aspects and culture are second to none. Strong management team that listens to feedback. Flat structure that allows me to reach out to the CEO whenever I need to. Massive stock opportunity and more than fair wages. Great product and company vision.

Cons

You are expected to work HARD! Yes, the work life balance can be a little off, but we are all in this together to create something amazing. Product value expectations can be excessive at times which makes the sale more difficult.

Pros

If you have great Core AEs, you get to do the fun part of sales which is selling. The product is good and we are constantly evolving our product. Salesforce install base and name recognition helps get you a lot of at bats.

Cons

SMB culture can be draining. There is less emphasis on being a strategic product expert and more on volume based selling. This may be where the business needs to go, but logging every minute of your day, being a great co prime, and functioning as a BDR is tough. There are also a lot of stellar performers and others on the exact same team who may have closed nothing.
