Pros

1. Great Technology platform. 2. Great humble Global Leadership who preach about MuleSoft core values especially the core value of Good Human. 3. The company is serious about grooming people globally to understand the technology platform and it is really very impressive.

Cons

1. Weak leadership with little understanding of guiding, setting directions and understanding the business model 2. Little trust on the working team and micro managing the people. 3. Communication GAP between the leader and the working team 4. Working team are always double guessing what the leader is thinking and always fearing to go to work 5. Working team constantly challenge on their work as the leader always has his own mind set, so why have the meeting to discuss if he has already make up his mind before the meeting. 6. Lack of professionalism and weak in handling situation which leads to demoralising the morale of the working team. 7. Double standard operating model.

MuleSoft Response

Our recent employee engagement survey had outstanding results overall. However, just like software has bugs, we are going to have "bugs" in our culture, like those you have cited here. Our job is to identify and fix issues, so please employ radical candor to raise these issues directly - then we can get to work to fix them!

Pros

If you have great Core AEs, you get to do the fun part of sales which is selling. The product is good and we are constantly evolving our product. Salesforce install base and name recognition helps get you a lot of at bats.

Cons

SMB culture can be draining. There is less emphasis on being a strategic product expert and more on volume based selling. This may be where the business needs to go, but logging every minute of your day, being a great co prime, and functioning as a BDR is tough. There are also a lot of stellar performers and others on the exact same team who may have closed nothing.
