Cons
It is clear the company has no direction or vision which has been demonstrated to employees in a variety of ways. Changes are made and most aren't known about because there is a severe lack of communication from the top down. If a change occurs don't dare ask management for clarification as you are expected to figure everything out on your own. The culture is highly negative, as one other reviewer stated "if you took a poll how happy people are there the results would be terrible". Everyone across the board in all departments complains about management, which is the common theme why everyone is unhappy. No leaders seem to understand the "we work as a team", "let's help one another" mentality. They are simply there to prove they are better than everyone by treating people poorly and feeling good about themselves because of their titles and paychecks. Both of which are higher than what they deserve. The product is cool but at the end of the day it's a nice to have and while employees even agree with this, so do lots of the potential buyers. So if you want to work somewhere unstable with poor leadership who could care less if you're there today or gone tomorrow...then work for MapAnything. Slight caveat, since they have been downsizing and firing a lot of people the last 4 months, there are hardly any available positions. In summary do yourself a favor and stay away!
