Pros
The talent pool here is super deep. Being smart is table stakes to joining the team. Love the work we do and how it is impacting peoples lives, communities and cities. CEO is super inspiring and a pleasure to work with. Teammates are amazing. Genuine friendships and sense of compassion for each other.
Cons
Organization is super flat so promotions are very rare and hard to come by. One of our top exec's (who I won't name) thinks pretty highly of himself. He can be frequently found talking over other people, re-stating what others have said or taking credit for ideas which came from others. He just can't seem to hear enough of himself. I don't think this is malicious behavior probably just a lack of self awareness but it is exhausting. Perhaps this was accepted at Google, but it doesn't belong at Gloo. It is no wonder his team has had like 30% turn over in 6 months. Management please look at this.
