Business outlook
Pros
Good during school time as there is flexibility in scheduling.
Cons
Although there is some really good talent at The Gap, most of that talent is usually shifted upwards into better roles and therefore the sales associate who has work hard over the past couple of months/years is left in an uncomfortable situation of having to relive and recreate all the hard work previously accomplished. Some management staff do not manage staff effectively - as they don't know the skills inventory in their organization at the store level. A lot of good talent is lost in translation as they seek opportunities elsewhere.
