Pros
Salary is decent. Especially if you’re fresh out of college. It was 58k.
Cons
I didn’t realize until I left but this is essentially a BDR or SDR role except when you move up to the next tier you don’t really get commission like an account executive would. I believe there were bonuses for hitting certain metrics, but I feel that they try and present the job as if it’s something that it’s not. If I would have known I was essentially an SDR it would have made more sense as to why I was doing a majority of cold calling and prospecting. I thought of the position as something else and felt that my skills weren’t being used properly. There’s also NO work life balance. The expectation is that you stay on the clock late and work weekends periodically (if you’re on the healthcare team. As oftentimes healthcare is open 24/7). They also have “unlimited PTO” but make you feel guilty about taking it, especially if you haven’t hit your desired numbers. My training for the next step up was TERRIBLE. They have you train and shadow with several different people and everyone says “they may want you to do it like this but I do it like THIS”. Then when I got to my assessment I did everything how people taught me and failed lol smh. Never in my life have I quit a job without having another one lined up but after only 3 months of being here I was OUT! I had so much anxiety just even THINKING about logging in to work!
