Poor compensation, limited opportunities for advancement, and weak exit opportunities. Team leads are often young and lack professionalism. A lot is promised to attract young talent, but much of it is not delivered in reality. The role is often marketed as entry point into private equity, which does not reflect the actual outcomes. The work itself is very monotonous and heavily KPI-driven. There is also a noticeable hire-and-fire culture.
