Pros
OK raises and a good bit of autonomy. as long as you aren't caught "stealing time," you can basically show up and get a paycheck. If they write you up for something, correct it, but otherwise, you show up, clean some storage units and chill the rest of the day. And trust me, you don't actually have to "clean them" just sweep out some of the debris. They will tell you to clean the wall of the units. Don't do that, it's too much work and you can get away without doing it. They will give random bonuses, but if you look at how much money they are making, you will see that it is just an OK bonus. Health insurance is pretty cheap.
Cons
very unprofessional, the district managers do whatever they want and if that means firing somebody because they are jealous of them, they will do it. They will also lie. They let their "friends" do whatever they want, but will write you up for doing the same thing. They claim to value diversity, but HR didn't even acknowledge my email about inclusion. They promote friends only. My friend was fired and her district manager told her she would write a recommendation for her, and then ghosted her. Won't return her emails or phone calls. Two managers took lunch but didn't "clock out" on the same day and ate at the same time, but only one of them was fired. They are cutthroat! They fired another friend for having a visitor to the office for "too long" after she worked there for EIGHT YEARS!
