      Pros

      Some wonderful resources, beautiful campus, amazing professors, excellent salary.

      Cons

      Horrible upper management throughout the University. Poor performers are kept on with literally no repercussions. Generally, a change-averse and dysfunctional workplace. Tuition benefits have been gutted.

      My job with the Columbia Population Research Center is fully remote, which is a great perk. I can also create my own schedule and work any day of the week.

      The pay could be better.

      The work when I had it was amazing, I really appreciated it for what it gave me.

      Cons

      Unfortunately, with the change in management came zero transparency and rules for thee, not for me. It's led to really weird decisions.
