Pros

Decent wages, good education benefit ( if you can use it) You will make money. Work is not overly demanding

Cons

You will be at work more than home, or anywhere, as they mandate overtime week after week after week .58 + hr work week. No provision allowing you to work 2 or 3 and get a weekend off Less than 1% differential for working a brutal 5p-3:30 night Shift Night shift start time may be changed on weekends on a days notice requiring a 2:30 start Finding time to utilize Education program Bathrooms are few and the worst I have encoutered . Pools on the floor and toilet paper on floor ,stool seat, stall doors. Union has a different philosophy than most, especially as for skilled workers

Pros

The people, the salary, Christmas vacation

Cons

Benefits are terrible, toxic leadership is prolific, chances for advancement are limited, micromanagement is normal, evolution and change are nonexistent, commitment to diversity and inclusion are superficial at best, the CEO draw a compensation of tens of millions of dollars per year while laying people off, the CHRO is one of the most toxic people leaders I have ever come across.
