If you can stick around for all of your stocks to vest, it can be somewhat lucrative but, caution, your mental and physical health will tank.
Cons
The culture at Amazon is bloodsport. Everyone makes happy to your face, but undercuts behind your back. Despite multiple academic studies proving that stack ranking is a terrible performance management system, Amazon STILL uses it. Stack ranking erodes trust and hamstrings collaboration. Everyone is prioritizing "bias for action" and no one takes the time to determine if their action is even necessary or if someone else has already done it. Amazon CEO Jassy also kissed Trump's ring and completely uprooted all DEI efforts. Stay far away from this company!
