Pros
The sign on bonus is great. It's also great that the benefits start on day 1. There are some amazing people who work for Amazon.
Cons
The work expectations for HR Generalists, Business Partners, and Managers at the fulfillment centers is unrealistic. The typical work week is 60 hours and you're on call periodically which is very disruptive for work life balance. You're asked to improve issues that are out of your control and are not provided any support from senior leadership to improve issues. The bottom line is that HR employees at the sites don't have a voice and get a lot dumped on them by the employees and leadership.
