Pros
High value of RSUs (better if you receive more options, obviously). Huge amounts of internal information (sites, training, forums, ...).
Cons
The never ending sensation you could earn more. When asking for help, people usually gives you attention if the matter will help them with promotion or if it's directly related to their jobs. By the way, many people work fully dedicated to their own promotions, which is something quite disgusting. If neither of such options is the case, you usually have to chase a number of people until you get your issue solved. Internal communication channels are an alternative way of asking for support, but have no SLA for response. Managers do block your career. They say you rule your career, but that's not fully true. Play their game, pretend to be happy and you will suceed. Do not think being transparent with your manager will necessarily help you thrive. You are pretty much alone and will have to find your paths by yourself.
