Pros
Accenture has strong brand value and provides structured stream training for freshers. The initial training helped with basic technical understanding and exposure to corporate processes. HR support was genuinely helpful—when incorrect actions like a project refusal were raised, HR listened, clarified the situation, and was supportive throughout the discussion.
Cons
After completing training in December, I was moved to the bench in March and remained there for nearly a year, with no meaningful project calls and very limited learning or upskilling opportunities, leading to skill stagnation. When I was finally hard-locked to a project (NBN), I was released within a week without clear justification and was wrongly marked with a project refusal. Although I was later re-onboarded, the experience remained unstable. I was not assigned any real project or client deliverable work. Instead, I was given unrelated learning tasks (such as studying a basic Java backend text application) and weekly review calls were conducted on this material. Despite completing the assigned tasks and showing improvement, a negative review was written claiming that client deliverables were delayed because of me, even though I had no ownership of any deliverables. Management behavior was unprofessional and demotivating, feedback felt biased, and I was eventually removed from the project again and placed on a PIP, which felt more like a forced-exit process than genuine performance management.
