Pros

Ability to work from home.

Cons

Management claims to care about work-life balance, but does everything in its power to work people until they burn out. They claim to be transparent, but often we learn of important changes in the press. No bonus. If you were an early employee of the company, you are paid far less than new employees as they seek "top talent." The old "top talent" have to fight and scrape for even market value, much less a decent wage. Gender discrimination is rampant. If you have an issue, you're "emotional" and "overreacting." If you offer an idea that they don't like, you will be rudely dismissed. I don't have time to add all of the cons. There are just too many.

Pros

There is nothing good about this firm.

Cons

If I could rate this place a negative number, I would. This is the worst place to work. There is no communication between management and employees. Sexual harassment is allowed. If you drink, play video games and Fantasy football you will fit in perfectly. Employees lack respect and consideration for their fellow co workers. The so called company's policy is not followed at all. People show up in cutoffs, mini skirts, flip flops and t-shirts. The management does not uphold company policy and rules, in fact they are a huge part of the problem. Male managers lock conference room doors when they are alone with female subordinates.

I am sorry to read this review and would like the opportunity to understand what specifically happened in the view of this reviewer to allow Elevate an opportunity to address it. What I read here is contrary to every value, principle and practice we follow at Elevate. We have a zero tolerance policy against sexual harassment and harassment of any kind. At Elevate, our behavior is governed by our Code of Conduct which every employee is required to read and sign. That Code outlines what is considered a violation and what to do if such a violation is witnessed in the work place. We hold mandatory sensitivity training multiple times a year to make sure our teams understand what constitutes harassment of all kinds. We have a clear policy for reporting violations and offer access to the Risk Officer to any employee who is uncomfortable reporting up a violation to their manager or our People (HR) team. We take specific care to treat everyone equitably and fairly. We have committees available for any employee to join, on the subjects of diversity and inclusion; equitability and fair treatment for everyone in the Elevate community. Joyce Thorne, VP, Head of People, Elevate.

Pros

Excellent work life balance(for software developers)

Cons

This is an honest review that I was looking for before I joined Elevate. Unfortunately I could not find one few years back, but if you are looking for something genuine, then read on. 1. Elevate is not an IT company. So, if you feel you will learn a lot after joining here (which the HR will claim), you will be making a big mistake . 2. If you are looking for a challenging environment and you come from a well established firm, then you will be disappointed a lot. The only biggest challenge will be survival under extreme level of politics. 3. The management here does not care if your background check is successful or not. You can easily find people with fake experience or degrees sitting around you. Moreover, you will have to work on a daily basis with those people and it can become challenging if you know your work but you have to work according to non sense words coming out of those people. 4. Politics is at its peak as most people don't have any work. You will find yourself mostly engaged in trivial situations rather than doing something productive. My genuine advice - If you don't have any other option, or you are in a situation where you desperately need to change your current job, only then join here. If you are looking for career growth and learning opportunities, you should not join here. Your qualities and credentials will not be valued here until you can not support or practice unethical things. P.S. - This is for software developers only.
