Pros

I attended a legal walk with the company and had a great experience. The team was welcoming, professional, and genuinely enjoyable to be around. It’s a great company to work for, with a diverse and inclusive culture that brings together people from different backgrounds and perspectives. Everyone was friendly, supportive, and clearly passionate about what they do. A lovely bunch of people, and I would highly recommend the company to anyone looking for a positive and collaborative working environment.

Cons

Sometimes can be lonely working with a lot of people who are remote

Hello, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We take all allegations of bias - including racism - very, very seriously. Would you be open to a follow-up conversation where you can share more specifics? If so, please write to our Chief People Officer, Joyce Thorne at joyce.thorne@elevate.law, so that we can get to the bottom of the issue. We're sorry that you had a bad experience at Elevate.

Pros

Early career corporate exposure (IB) and understanding of key compliance frameworks.

Cons

The company suffers from unclear expectations and constantly shifting project structures, with internal promotions perceived as insular. Recurring issues are often ignored, employee turnover is very high, and there is little opportunity for career progression. Work tends to be repetitive, pay is below average, and performance standards are unrealistic. The transparency with clients is concerning and the office culture is weak despite a mandatory three-day in-office requirement, and equipment and IT support are inadequate, with underpowered laptops and frequent technical issues.

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We're glad the early exposure to compliance frameworks added value to your career trajectory. The range of concerns you've raised, from clarity of expectations and career progression to IT infrastructure and office culture, is significant. They describe a day-to-day experience that we clearly didn't get right for you. Feedback of this depth is exactly what our leadership team needs to hear, and it will be shared internally. We would eagerly welcome a more detailed conversation. If you're willing to speak further, you can write directly to our APAC People Head, Yogesh Bendre (yogesh.bendre@elevate.law). We're sorry your experience fell short of what we aspire to offer.
