Pros

• Exciting and compelling product roadmap • Real possibility for long-term category creation • IPO is a real possibility in the near future • Perks and benefits are very good • Lots of flexibility (both in schedule and in working in-office) • DigiCert is a category leader and could be a great resume builder, especially if the growth goals are realized.

Cons

• Company leadership appears to care very little about employees: The company has started hiring employees' replacements behind their back—laying off the original employee, and having the new one start immediately afterward. These layoffs are not motivated by cutting cost, but by accelerating growth (which was already exceptional). This has become a common practice. • Leadership is not trustworthy: They've explicitly broken promises of rewards and incentives to top performers. See achiever's club trip 2023. • Unfair compensation: Top-performing and underpaid employees' requests for raises are denied. • Culture of egotism: if mistakes are made or projects fail, blame is pinned on a scapegoat and they're terminated. Leadership does not take accountability for mistakes. • Suppressing dissent: When employees express concern about layoffs, they're silenced. Anonymous questions in all-hands meetings were discontinued.

Dear former DigiCert employee, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback and addressed all that you believe the company offers – both positive and negative. We appreciate your time and opinion. DigiCert experienced many changes in 2023. There was change and growth as with all companies. But, while leadership is doing its best to position the company for future success, these changes may not be comfortable or welcomed by everyone. The DigiCert People Team makes every effort to speak with and listen to employees about their concerns so that we can address them and make leadership aware of employee sentiments and concerns. Even though you are no longer a part of the company, your feedback is valuable to us, and we invite you to contact a member of the DigiCert People Team to expound upon what you have shared so that we can continue to provide a positive culture that our employees enjoy and frequently hail. Thank you for your time, DigiCert People Team

COMPANY IS SINKING SHIP

Pros

These days, there is very little happening. Morale has reached an all-time low, and the existing staff members are eagerly awaiting the economy to stabilize before making a mass departure. Even new hires are leaving after just a few months of being here.

Cons

The organization has become an absolute nightmare. The newly appointed CEO, CRO, and CFO are attempting to start from scratch, but they are also implementing questionable compensation plans with unrealistic targets. Moreover, there is relentless pressure on the sales department to sell products that are not yet market-ready. The company had a disastrous performance in Q1 2023 and is likely to struggle throughout the entire year.

Dear current DigiCert employee, Thank you for taking the time to complete a Glassdoor review. We have read your assessment. In these times of change, we understand how hard it can be to accept that things have to change and are changing. We invite you to take some time and engage with your People Team colleagues about why decisions have been made and what can be learned from them. Reach out to DigiCert leaders or members of the People Team and share your thoughts and feelings. As difficult as change is, it can be made easier with information and understanding. Pros

Good benefits, interesting technology, a few good people

Cons

Ethics are basically non-existent, many people are fired over a 5 minute zoom with zero warning or history or poor performance. Constant turnover at the executive level. Transformation in 2023 was a complete disaster, VERY few sales reps made their number and direction from leadership was constantly changing. Commission payouts were super sketchy with territories always changing. The product teams announce releases that are not fully baked. Many deals lost in late stages due to previously unknown technical gaps in the product. Compensation is on the lower end. Dozens of reps are hired and then fired within months which is in indication of poor hiring practices. Decisions are made based on the bottom line and zero consideration for the employees and their families is afforded.

Dear former DigiCert employee, Thank you for taking the time and providing a review on Glassdoor. While we appreciate the recognition of the benefits, technology, and people at DigiCert, we recognize your list of negatives was extensive. In 2023 DigiCert went through a transformation year, and change is often hard and uncomfortable. But DigiCert, its leaders and employees are quickly finding our footing in this new structure. Major changes include making choices about people, which is always difficult, but we do our best to be thoughtful and not make emotional decisions. And we will always be honest with people on why decisions are made. We hope that, overall, your experience at DigiCert was positive, and we invite you to share any additional feedback you may have with a member of the DigiCert People Team. We would be more than happy to speak with you. Regards, DigiCert People Team
