Pros

Your choice of hybrid or remote

Cons

- Employees pay for benefits deducted from your pay - Even though you're a salary employee you have a monetary annual target from 250k upto 500k. If this is not reached you will not get a bonus and will potentially be terminated. - No SOP, reference material, training manuals. Nothing. - very Admin duty heavy. Your not really an examiner working on claims. Your duties is billing, paper work, meetings etc... - no perks like memberships or discounts at anywhere - Time recording. Down to the minute has to be logged and at the end of the day you have to total your 8 hours. A lot of people work 10 to 12 hours just to find 8 hours of time to bill for - The systems are a nightmare. You have to use the same system on 2 different platforms. Very tedious - High turnover

Pros

Genuinely great people, the best colleagues I've ever had. The partners were warm and supportive. I never felt stressed about what the atmosphere in the office would be like. Very good work life balance - rarely had to work late, lots of understanding when it came to appointments etc. A real sense that management are trying to actively live up to and promote the values of the firm.

Cons

The pay is adequate but not generous. Pay rises can be pitiful, as can the salary jump associated with promotions. Good work life balance tempers this but pay still not level with expectations regarding billable hours and quality of output. Very real lack of transparency on bonuses, which can be reduced from the expected level without any explanation being given. Support services around billing and debt collection are poor and mean fee earners spend a disproportionate amount of time dealing with these issues, taking away from fee earning work.

Pros

None at all. Steer clear of this awful company.

Cons

1. Appalling management. 2. Members of the Evesham team lack knowledge of the law. 3. Awful HR, they are purely performative, they are not impartial. 4. No consideration is given to mental wellbeing. 5. Policies are awful. 2 weeks sick leave (including 7 days self certifying) at full pay then drops down to SSP. 7 hour daily targets but don't even give you the work to bill 2 hours. 6. Evesham team are never in the office, yet new starters in the team are expected to be in 3 days a week. Poor team culture. 7. Firm sounds great on paper but the reality is far from it. Wish I could give them 0 stars. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
