Thank you for taking the time to give your feedback on your experience at DWF. We’re pleased to hear that hybrid working, set hours and the availability of overtime have worked well for you. We operate as a hybrid working business because we want colleagues to have the flexibility they need while still having the option for in-person collaboration and support when it’s helpful. Creating an environment where people can balance work and home life in a way that supports their wellbeing is really important to us, and it’s great to know this has been a positive part of your experience. We also appreciate your concerns over career progression support. We recognise that development needs to feel clear and accessible, especially for those early in their careers. Your feedback is a helpful reminder of where we can continue to strengthen the support and guidance we offer. Your experience matters to us, and we’re here to listen if you’d like to share more about what additional support would have made a difference for you at recruitment.enquiries@dwf.law

Pros

Flexibility (which tends to differ depending on manager) Recognition platform

Cons

Poor pay! Lack of career progression Pressure to deliver ill thought through initiatives with no consideration to what resource is needed Expectation for you to work additional hours Took no action to address cost of living crisis No consistency/ transparency/ fairness in how pay review and budget spend is distributed Top down communication/ messaging is confusing. Told the business is performing well in one breath then to be told we have no bonus pot.

Pros

Relatively good pay Decent benefits package

Cons

* Very bad management and some managers left unaccountable for bad decisions * Zero support * Unachievable and unrealistic targets * Offer bonus schemes that you can never achieve * Stress levels high trying to achieve the unachievable targets * High staff turnover speaks volumes * You could make £1000 profit, they'd want £10000 as nothing is ever good enough. * All promises of career progression never happens * You can mention issues in appraisals, nothing will ever be done * Hard workers never rewarded

Thank you for your feedback! We’re pleased to hear that you’ve had a positive experience with your colleagues, the laidback and flexible work environment, and the ability to work remotely. It's great to know that you find our wages competitive compared to similar roles elsewhere—creating a supportive and rewarding workplace is important to us. We also understand your concerns about career progression. While we encourage colleagues to take ownership of their development, we support this with structured career paths, learning programs, and access to self-paced training materials. We are always working to ensure that our colleagues have the opportunities to grow within the company, and your feedback will help us continue to improve these areas. Thank you again for your input and for being a valued part of the team!
