Pros

Some great colleagues—smart, kind, and supportive. Working remotely is convenient, which makes it decent as a second job for extra income.

Cons

Layoffs happen frequently with little transparency or empathy. The CEO is controlling and untrustworthy—if you disagree or don't follow orders, you're at risk of being fired. It's not a place to build a long-term career.

Pros

- genuinely good people "on the floor" who are smart and passionate about their jobs - company is in a great place financially

Cons

- culture stems from the top down, and our c-level management has historically done a very poor job of addressing a variety of issues (high turnover, burnout, lack of benefits, etc.). however, i think they are on the right track with trying to improve some of those things. - robert, our CEO, cannot handle any type of constructive criticism or feedback. i've never seen a leader ban anonymous questions from being posted in all-hands. his aggressive reactions make it impossible for any type of honest discussion, and no one speaks up because they are afraid of the repercussions. - shady business practices.. they'll happily spend stupid amounts of money on domain names and scouting amazon execs, but raises are practically unheard of. raises are supposedly based on "individual performance", but it's really just throwing money at X number of people at the end of a quarter who haven't received one in awhile or may be at risk of leaving.

Pros

Amidst the chaos, there's an undeniable spark of resilience with co-workers. The people who are actually getting sh*t done possess a remarkable ability to overcome obstacles and navigate the labyrinthine, despite the overwhelming roadblocks and baffling practices imposed by those esteemed senior leaders. It's an extraordinary sight to behold, witnessing the triumph of perseverance over absurdity.

Cons

Welcome to a workplace unlike any other! If you're seeking a company where the founder's communication skills are a mysterious puzzle, despite their claims of being direct and transparent, then look no further. Here, you'll discover the art of deciphering messages and navigating swift decision-making with a touch of whimsy. Patience is a virtue that will be tested here. Internal approvals from various teams, such as product and finance, may take weeks to materialize. It's a thrilling dance of anticipation, a chance to master the art of waiting while savoring the suspense. Now, let's talk about the company culture, an intriguing blend of individuality and peculiarities. During the all-company trips, you'll have the opportunity to bond with your colleagues on a whole new level. Picture sharing rooms, an interesting exercise in camaraderie, while the founder enjoys their personal accommodations and transportation. It's an unconventional approach to team building, indeed. So, if you possess an adventurous spirit, a knack for adaptability, and a love for embracing the unconventional, this company offers a one-of-a-kind experience. Enter a world where the ordinary takes a backseat and the extraordinary becomes the norm. It's a workplace journey that will leave you marveling at the quirkiness of it all.
