Worst experience.

Pros

You can easily attain Sanyasa, seeing the toxic environment and realizing how worst the world can can be.

Cons

1. The company level mesure of efficiency of an employee is the number of lines committed per day. Even if someone commits scrap. 2. Tamil domination. Some meetings happen in Tamil. 3. No value given to the employee. You will be treated as slave. Don't think of pointing out some wrong the process. You will be marked for firing in the next cycle. 4. Just hire and fire. You access will be removed within an hour if you are fired. 5. If you discuss about firing, you would be receiving threatening calls from HR 6. HRs unprofessionals. Even toilet product selling salesmen are better in lying or keeping their words. 7. Working till 11 PM is thought not only normal, only those will be considered as working employees. 8. Can't trust anyone. You don't know your manager, architect, TL, your colleague or someone you don't even know digging behind you for your evaluation. 9. Evaluation measures are crazy and normal company's cannot even think of them. Like a bug fix is better if there are more numbers of lines and number of commits. One who fixes bugs is better than one who delivers full fledged features from planning. Because the big count would be more. 10. You don't be able to pick features. You will be assigned. So in summary, if you join, you would be getting worst experience. And pay ok but not above the par.

Pros

Company management is friendly and approachable.

Cons

Recently they have fired so many people from Engineering, Product Management and customer success teams with the reason of work re-prioritisation, a.k.a cost cutting.. I know lot of talented friendly colleagues of mine losing their job despite good performance. Management did not care much at all to let go of well performing employees. Also most of the people they fired where new employees who worked between 1-2 years. It's unfair that they see that older employees needs to be retained and newer to be let go off despite being better than some older employees when it comes to work. I would not recommend anyone to work here for the above fact alone! Compensation is not much good, it could be better. Work life isn't any particularly good for engineering team, sales and customer success teams.

Pros

Only pro is good salary (they pay better than market standards for most roles). This they do because people won't join them otherwise as it's a small scale startup of 500 employees.

Cons

Too many to list. Here it goes! - Nepotism and favouritism - occurs in most teams with relatives being given preference over actual capability. - Internal office politics - no growth for new hires as the old timers have stayed with the company for over 7 years and become directors with time scale promotion and not capability. - Tamil is the official language - most internal teams speak in Tamil and only with U.S clients, they speak in broken english. - South Indian heritage : if you know Tamil, you will be hired even if you don't have the tech skills. Office politics at its worst: across sales, pre-sales, product engineering and product management teams. I hear even HR team has it. HR team- led by a chief people officer who is a puppet sitting in the U.S. No connection with middle or lower level management. - Culture & Values - Real culture is to fire people based on their convenience. Lots of freshers laid off in the last one year or so. C suite team - a group of jokers who don't have a vision or rather the vision changes with the c level person being hired.
