Pros

Strong operational structure and clear performance targets. Fast paced environment that encourages quick decision-making. Good data visibility for allocation and route optimization. Opportunity to directly impact revenue, spend control, and service quality. Collaborative environment between operations and planning teams.

Cons

High operational pressure, especially during peak demand periods. Last minute changes can impact planning efficiency. Limited flexibility when routes are already assigned. Communication gaps between departments can sometimes affect execution. Process improvements may take time to implement.

Pros

Positive environment with people and management that make you feel like you're part of something big. Great benefits and good opportunities for growth and the chance to earn well.

Cons

You might start a shift a bit late in the day and end a bit late in the night but work life balance is good.

Pros

Real opportunity to build 0 to 1. If you like creating structure, products, or processes where none exist yet, you can make a large impact quickly. Very fast-paced and execution-driven. Decisions get made, and you can ship meaningful work without weeks of approvals Strong sense of ownership. You are trusted to run with things, and good ideas can get traction regardless of title.

Cons

The org is still not very mature in places. Some processes, role clarity, and documentation are still being built. “None of this is unusual for a scale-up company, but it’s worth being honest about.”

Pros

I’ve genuinely enjoyed my time at AnyVan Cape Town. What stands out the most is the clear investment in career growth and development. Hard work doesn’t go unnoticed here, it’s rewarded. I’ve personally experienced progression and opportunity as a direct result of the effort I’ve put in, which creates a motivating and performance-driven environment. One of the highlights has been Vantastics, our version of a President’s Club for top performers. It’s an incredible initiative that recognises excellence and gives people something tangible to work towards. It reinforces a culture where high performance is celebrated and appreciated. The culture is another huge positive. It truly feels like a family. There’s an open-door policy at every level, and you’re encouraged to speak up, share ideas, and ask for support. The Senior Leadership Team doesn’t feel distant, they act more like mentors. They’re approachable, invested, and genuinely want to see people succeed. There’s also strong cohesion between departments. Teams collaborate rather than compete, and there’s a shared sense of working toward the same goals. That alignment makes a big difference in day-to-day work and overall morale. Overall, it’s a rewarding place to work if you’re willing to put in the effort and want to be part of a supportive, high-performing team.

Cons

Nothing at all, happy with everything.

Pros

Management style is really good, upfront , forward thinking and always about getting things done. I've seen some really good promotional opportunities for agents in Sales that have made manager, as well as Transport, an agent has come in and made manager within 8 month period, so if you put in the work, the promotional opportunities are there for you. Fast paced and never the same in terms of challenges, which makes it refreshing, you're constantly learning all the time.

Cons

Not everyone in different departments work on the same level, so collaboration to get things done in an effective and swift manner can be a bit challenging at some times. At times we do have data challenges, but once notified, it gets rectified pretty swiftly

Pros

The environment is fast-paced and challenging, but in a good way, and you learn a lot very quickly. The team is supportive and collaborative, and there is a strong focus on performance, development and results. There are genuine opportunities for progression, and hard work is recognised. Communication is generally clear and you feel part of a company that is moving forward and improving all the time.

Cons

As a fast-growing company, things can change quickly and priorities may shift, which can sometimes feel intense. Workloads can be high during busy periods, so you need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Pros

Working at AnyVan has been exciting and motivating since day one. The environment is fast-paced and demanding, but in a way that pushes you to grow and perform at your best. The company genuinely recognises hard work — whether through daily, weekly, monthly or quarterly awards. Even small gestures like surprise chocolates or energy drinks show appreciation and help keep morale high. It’s refreshing to work for a company that cares about employee wellbeing while also rewarding performance. If you’re proactive and willing to put yourself out there, there’s real opportunity to develop and stand out. I began in Customer Service and was promoted into Operations within two months due to my performance. It reinforced that the company genuinely recognises effort and creates progression opportunities when you prove yourself.

Cons

The role can be demanding, and the fast-paced environment may not suit everyone. There is healthy competition across the board, which can add pressure at times. It’s not your standard 9–5 job. You may find yourself working extra hours when needed to meet targets and put the work in. Resilience, commitment, and a strong work ethic are essential to thrive here.
