Pros

Training was good and I had a supervisor that was always available for quick questions/training when I needed help.

Cons

Hours, mostly in the winter. Knocking on doors at 7:30-8pm when it’s been dark for 2-3 hours sucks.

Stepping stone

Pros

- Salary isn't great but is fair for experience and education required - Able to WFH after a few months - Genuinely helpful team and colleagues (not the leaders) with wide experience that want to provide good service and make a change

Cons

- Manager constantly breathing down our neck to meet SLAs and close tickets ASAP and not caring about actually providing good service - Said manager does not have prior IT experience and openly claimed on company Teams he cannot help us because he does not understand our work, when colleagues tried to reach him for help - Verbally and psychologically abused for taking A sick day over 3 months worked - Colleagues fired with no warning and no tolerance for violating company security procedures despite getting no prior training on said company procedure (even for as little as mentioning something that could trigger such violation, not even doing it) - Local country labor laws completely thrown out the window

Pros

Middle management TRIES. But get's stymied by upper management.

Cons

Low Pay. Rigid Policy Don't follow progressive policies toward training. They use you like a piece of meat. Job requirements and assignments are subject to change without notice, and no training for new responsibilities.

Don’t let them lie to you

Business outlook

Pros

Nothing - revolving door in all optimum store locations in Westchester and Bronx - bad management - monthly sales target for mobile lines- if you don’t hit it then they give you write up verbal termination

Cons

Everything - Bad management No training / orientation/ HR reach out for new hires You have a monthly sales target - there is no probation period it’s a lie- they give to a verbal, write up, then termination - also they lie and ask if you can travel up to 35 miles when hired just in case- and then they make you travel those 35 miles on a weekly basis!!! You work holidays and you work long hours based on those store hours. Sales pressure is a lot and everyone is hovering over your shoulders
