Pros

- Remote work at a distributed company - The people who stick around long enough seem to be rewarded for their efforts

Cons

- just another wordpress shop under it all - toxic grind culture (you have to strictly track 40 hrs of actual work a week real-time, not including lunch, breaks, etc.) - "radical candor" is a one way street - you have to build ugly, boring news websites If you do not find success at Alley, they will shrug it off and attribute it to you not being able to handle the agency grind, or say that you can't handle the autonomy of remote work, etc.

Great for short term growth, but management is horrible

Pros

You will work with intelligent co-workers in a remote work environment.

Cons

Management is scattered, toxic, and often gives mixed messages at the cost of the employees and clients.
