Pros

Insurance coverage and accumualative PTO/sick time.

Cons

Bluedot is owned by ARS, who's owned by a private equity firm. They are super focused on #'s and if you dont meet criteria they will starve you in leads and if you approach management about the lack of leads they will feed you the worst kinds of leads. I was sent to leads 2hrs away and they were no shows, i was sent to dangerous neighborhoods deep in the inner city late at night. If you told them you didn't feel comfortable, demeaning threatening tones would be said and tell you to just go home and they'll send someone else. Technicians are forced to lie to customers telling them they can't or shouldn't fix their HVAC systems and need to replace, even if its still under warranty and maybe still paying on the 10yr loan. This company cannot keep employees, the HR dept is a joke. If you're dumb enough to go to them with a problem or complain about an individual, they literally run to that person and tell them you have a problem with them. They makeup reasons to fire ppl with no proof and without investigation. I would not recommend BlueDot or ARS to work, have service and install any of their services! They promise you the world and after they get your money and you experienced a problem good luck with resolutions. Everyone just wants to pass the buck, not except blame.

Pros

The cubicle is spacious and there is a private bathroom in the back.

Cons

You are expected to do the work of multiple departments at the rate of pay for just one person. They fire entire departments and just let the work get absorbed by everyone else. No bonuses, no commission, no raises even though the money is there. Sexism runs rampant. Management will only tell you what they think you’re doing wrong without any mention of what you do well.

Pros

Super laid back Percentages aren't bad

Cons

They lied about almost everything in the interview. Management has no idea how to operate residential business. They play favorites heavy with how they assign jobs. Manager constantly lying for no reason. Ive had multiple friends come here to work and leave stating they cant make money. We'll its 100% true they need alot of work before id consider working here. If your a top earner and use to making good money run away.

Pros

You can take work truck home.

Cons

Management has created a challenging work environment where technician support and fair compensation do not appear to be priorities. There are no performance-based bonuses or consistent annual raises, despite strong expectations around sales. Call distribution lacks transparency, with higher-quality leads often going to a small, select group, making it difficult for others to perform at their full potential. Technicians are also expected to take calls after scheduled hours (8 AM – 4 PM), which impacts work-life balance. Additionally, time and travel policies raise concerns. Technicians clock in upon arrival at the customer’s location rather than when travel begins, even when jobs are over an hour away. This results in significant unpaid driving time, often exceeding two hours per day. In some cases, technicians are required to travel to appointments even when customers are unresponsive, leading to cancellations or reschedules without compensation for the time lost. Overall, the expectations placed on technicians are high, but the structure and support systems in place do not consistently reflect or reward that effort.

Pros

Going broke and being told that the food pantry can help by HR. Still having to drive to unqualified leads. Being told that management doesn't play favoritism as all of the sales team watches the favoritism happen. Finding out the Spyware installed on the devices records private conversations after work hours. Watching management hire more sales during a low lead environment so every sales person gets to make less while they secure their bonus.

Cons

Inconsistent pay Spied on through REQUIRED technology A culture where everyone looks out for themselves No team work Untrustworthy environment Greed driven Profit first, customer 2nd, employee last.

We’re genuinely sorry to hear that this was your experience. We understand that income stability, lead flow, and team dynamics are critically important in a commission-based sales environment. We recognize that market fluctuations can impact lead volume, and we continuously evaluate staffing, forecasting, and operational decisions to balance opportunity across the team. We also want to clarify, ARS does not use “spyware” to monitor private conversations. Company-issued devices may have standard security and compliance tools in place to protect customer information and company data. If you would like to discuss your experience further, please visit arsawaremobile.ethicspoint.com or call 833-633-7255.
