· Identifying their needs and appreciating their interests and abilities. Always realising that residents’ dignity and safety comes first.
To plan, implement and evaluate individual and group activities.
· To implement a comprehensive therapy program according to results of evaluations
· Adapt or change program according to results of evaluations and needs of residents
· To ensure a high standard of updated documentation is maintained on resources available in the facility and community.
· To inform other staff and relatives about activity program.
· In-service sessions provide opportunity to share goals and purpose of activities and implement new ideas in response to helpful feedback and suggestions.
· Encouraging and supporting residents to take part in activities suited to their needs and interests
· Report in resident notes/care plans etc. relevant information.
· To participate in annual performance appraisals
· Organizing monthly residents’ meeting and feedback to the manager
The candidate must have :
full NZ license and current 1st Aid course
Pay: $26.16 – $28.28 per hour
