The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager to work closely with one of our key clients, to be the driver behind delivering multidisciplinary projects and liaise with the wider team to successfully deliver a broad portfolio of projects. Working with our diverse teams, you will deliver high-quality consultancy engineering services. In this role, you’ll potentially oversee projects spanning civil, mechanical, process, electrical and structural engineering.
What You’ll Do:
Lead project and design management of water infrastructure projects
Establish and manage project teams, ensuring quality, cost and schedule objectives are achieved
Build strong relationships with clients including Napier City Council
Act as a key conduit between the ANZ Water team and the client panel
Deliver design packages on time, within budget, and to required quality
Collaborate with the Design Manager and project team on delivery outcomes
Oversee forecasting, cost management, and estimates
Ensure accurate financial reporting
Manage quality assurance and document control processes
Forecast resource requirements
Maintain and manage project risk registers
Mentor and support team members

About You
You’re a collaborative and experienced Project Manager who thrives in a client-facing environment. You will be able to demonstrate:
Relevant tertiary qualification in Project Management or similar
Strong ability to understand and respond to client needs
Proven experience delivering projects on or under budget
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
Team-oriented mindset with mentoring capability
