What you'll do:
As our Senior Product Manager, you'll help shape the strategy, performance and evolution of a key retail product portfolio, creating products and experiences that deliver better outcomes for our customers and stronger commercial results for Genesis. Working alongside a talented team of Product Managers, you'll bring together cross-functional expertise to develop propositions that are simple, valuable and aligned with our long-term strategy.
As a senior member of the team, you'll use your product expertise to coach and support others, influence strategic decisions and help drive meaningful improvements across the customer lifecycle.
Shape the product portfolio strategy, roadmap and prioritisation for a key retail customer segment.
Coach and support Product Managers, sharing your expertise and helping build product capability across the team.
Drive product performance through customer insight, commercial analysis and continuous improvement.
Partner with teams across Pricing, Digital, Marketing, Technology, Customer Care and Operations to deliver outstanding customer propositions.
Champion product governance, lifecycle management and business cases that support strategic growth and customer value.
This permanent, full-time role can be based in either our Auckland or Hamilton office. The internal title for this role may differ slightly due to Genesis' naming conventions.
What you'll need:
You'll be a seasoned product professional who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with execution. Comfortable working through complexity, you'll know how to influence across a large organisation, build trusted relationships and use your experience to coach others while delivering commercially successful customer outcomes.
You'll also bring:
Extensive experience managing product portfolios, propositions or complex customer offerings.
A collaborative coaching style, with a passion for sharing knowledge and supporting the development of others.
Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to use customer insights and data to inform decisions.
Experience developing product roadmaps, prioritising investment and managing products across their lifecycle.
Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to bring diverse teams together around shared outcomes.
