      Technical Recruiter Interview

      17 Nov 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Seattle, WA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Zipwhip (Seattle, WA) in Oct 2020

      Interview

The process of setting up the interview was great and fairly quick only taking about a week to schedule everything. However, the issue came during the interview itself. The recruiter was 10 mins late to the call and didn't bother to apologize or give an explanation on why he was late. Furthermore, during the entire call, someone in the background (most likely his kid) was playing the piano and he didn't do anything about it. Being a recruiter myself I thought it was weird that he didnt chose to sit in a quiet room for the call and really threw things off. It was also alarming to learn for a company that employs around 200-500 people in the Great Seattle Area they only have two recruiters total. To note I did not get selected to move forward in the process but would have declined based on my experience if I did
