      Associate Customer Support Analyst Interview

      3 Aug 2013
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through university. I interviewed at Workday in May 2013

      Interview

I was recruited at a job fair at my school UCSB in the winter of 2013. They followed up and I did a few preliminary interviews beforehand. One was a fairly detailed object oriented programming exercise where the interviewer guided you through and asked questions along the way (I did not do that well on it). I had a phone interview that was not so technical where they asked me the usual questions about my ambitions, past achievements, etc. After those preliminary interviews, they flew me up to Workday hq in Pleasanton for a full day of interviews and presentations. I had about 8 interviews of about 20 mins each in a row where they asked a lot of the usual questions. The overall process was fun and people at the company seemed to be a bit stressed out but overall they were very nice and accommodating. I was not ready to accept a job so I made it fairly clear that I was in it for the interview experience and I did not receive the offer.

      Question 1

The most difficult part of the interviews for me were the object oriented programming ones such as drawing a class map for a pretend company and then writing the functions to be performed.
