One of the co-founders reached out to me for this position. It seemed like an interesting opportunity so I agreed to do an interview.
The 1st step was a call with one of their recruiters. It was a pretty standard discussion about the company's product and services, my background and interests etc.
I was then asked to complete a take-home assignment which I did and sent out my submission. I heard back after a few days that they wanted to move forward to a 30-minute technical discussion. We discussed my past and current technical projects & background and how they do things in the team. I thought it went well.
Then I was completely ghosted for 3 weeks! When I've spent so much time on your interview process I expect at least a 2-liner email saying "We're not moving forward at this time. You can work some more on skills 1, 2 and 3 and re-apply after 6 months."
I even sent an email asking if they had any feedback but got no response.
Any recruiter/hiring manager/co-founder reading this should understand that EVERYONE is busy. Don't ghost people. It is very disrespectful.
