      Interview

I applied on uber website career section. Got a call in a week for a friendly chat, was later provided a link for the analytical exam which i have just appeared for. So waiting to hear back from them. The analytical test was very difficult. They provided me with a CSV file and had about 20 question 13 were analytical and 7 was essay type. you need 70 percent to pass the test. Time is the utmost important criteria so better manage it well.

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Uber (London, England) in Oct 2015

      Interview

I was referred internally and then had a skype call with an HR employee from the London office. It was friendly and lasted about an hour. We discussed my background (studies and work experience) and my knowledge of the company. Did not go so in depth about why I wanted to work there, however, there were questions about how would I convince drivers to use the platform or is surge pricing useful etc. Afterwards I was told I had passed this screening process and needed to complete an excel exam - which was not too horrible if you are familiar with excel, however I was told a week later that I did not qualify to progress to the next stage.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

How would you convince drivers to go and pickup passengers (hang around those areas) from suburban locations (far from the city)?
