I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Uber in Jan 2015
Interview
First, a casual 30min Skype interview with HR Manager. Then, was given two assignments. One assignment consisted 6 questions and had to upload videos of myself answering the questions under a certain time. The other assignment was an assignment both in Japanese and English testing my customer support skills, marketing/PR skills, social media skills, and some calculations. After passing the two assignments, was given 3 days to make a powerpoint presenting two marketing campaign ideas. After passing, got scheduled to do a face-to-face interview. At the face-to-face interview, was asked some basic interview questions (why i want to work for Uber etc. and a few challenging questions) and then was asked questions regarding the presentation that I have prepared in the previous assignment.
