I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Uber (New York, NY) in Apr 2021
Interview
Standard and fairly straightforward interview process that lasted about one month. I applied for a job posting on their website and was contacted by a recruiter to set up 30 minutes to chat about my experience and the role. The next round consisted of a 30 minute conversation with the hiring manager.
I was asked to complete a "case study" about a business problem that this role would focus on. I was given few days to complete to project and presented it to a panel of three cross-functional members of the team.
I was completely ghosted by them. I sent multiple emails to the recruiter, for feedback/next steps and never heard back from them. Very unprofessional and as I candidate I wouldn't recommend applying here.

Question 1
Complete a case study for their Uber Pass product.
It was a pretty straightforward, positive experience overall. Turnaround times were also pretty fast. There was a case assignment as well as the regular interviews. You then had to present the case to the hiring team. Overall decent experience.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Uber (San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2025

4 stage, 4-5 week process. The recruiters are really helpful so be sure to ask them for tips. Starts with an initial phone screen by the recruiter followed by an interview with the hiring manager, an assignment, and a panel interview.
