Thomson Reuters M&A Analyst interview questions

Interviews were all great. I submitted a writing sample and was ghosted after a 2 month process and 10 interviews. They also misrepresented salary. I confirmed my range with the HR recruiter, and a week later, he responded that they could only pay me $60K less than what he said was OK for my lowest possible salary. That is a huge amount!! Not $5-10K less, but $60K or more less than my minimum. This revised "max salary amount" was even a huge amount less than what they advertised as the minimum salary range for the role. Very put off by them, and their bait and switch on salary.
