I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Thomson Reuters in Sept 2016
Interview
Got an email to coordinate a 30 minute conversation with one of their recruiters. The interviewer called on time, was courteous and really listened to the answers, asking follow up questions based on the response. He explained in detail what the job entailed, the functions and the growth opportunities. He did not ask me to give a salary requirement, instead he told me straight out what the salary is. Encouraging about applying again if I wasn't chosen.

First HR called to discuss the position and salary. Red flag always goes up when then want to talk salary first. Next was a WePow video interview of about 10 to 12 questions. I reviewed the information at the WePow site and took some test questions. This part of the process was fine. After that, however, I didn't hear anything for weeks and weeks. Out of the blue, HR called and asked for a phone interview with a manager within a few days; had the phone interview, which was alright. I was then directed to contact HR with additional questions. After nine days of not hearing anything I reached out to HR. HR NEVER got back to me. I shouldn't have been surprised as this is a common complaint regarding Thomson's HR dept. After two weeks of not hearing from HR I reached out to the person I interviewed with and was told the company was going with other candidates. I think HR's lack of communication is disrespectful and unprofessional.
