Multiple rounds of cumbersome, zero-insight interviews and sharing of heavy ideas and concepts later, they sent a congratulatory email and then came back and mentioned that they cannot offer the role as the salary expectations are high. Ridiculous. Why dish out the email if salary isn't discussed internally first?

I was invited for an in-person interview after sharing my CV. The process began well the HR followed up promptly to confirm my availability, and I attended the interview, which went smoothly. However, post-interview, there was complete silence. My follow-ups over calls and messages went unanswered for weeks. Eventually, I received a one-line message saying “not selected,” with no explanation or feedback. While I completely understand that not every candidate gets selected, the lack of basic courtesy and communication was disappointing. I hope the company improves its candidate experience and ensures more respectful, transparent communication moving forward.
