I applied online. T-mobile's career site redirects to brassring. I completed the application. About two weeks later i received a text on my cell phone. Very vague but basically conveying that this was T-mobile and wanted to setup a time to talk on the phone about the Systems Engineer job. It was a 787 number from Puerto Rico but T-mobile has offices in PR so seemed legit but I asked if he could contact me via the email address I put in the application as I didn't recognize the phone number. He emailed me shortly after and I could see his email domain was from @t-mobile.com. We corresponded over email and text. Setup a time to talk on the phone but this person never called at the agreed upon time. Sent a few emails asking what happened but he never returned my emails. Got a text exactly one week later saying "Let me know when you are available for the call. T-Mobile" followed by a "This will be our last tried." Seemed very strange as this person never replied to any of my emails inquiring about why he stood me up the week before. We settled on another call date and, again, no call. I'm now wondering if perhaps this is a scam recruiter. I google searched his name but nothing returned indicating he works for T-Mobile. Interestingly, I did get results that a person with this same name worked for other well known tech companies and was looking to hire talent. I tried calling T-mobile at their corporate headquarters to verify this individual. However, T-mobile has about a half dozen different numbers and everyone I called went to a robot that indicated my phone number didn't have a plan with T-mobile. Nice. If this is a legit recruiter they are not doing a very good job representing the company. If they are not legit, T-mobile may want to investigate why this is happening. Thx
