      Customer Service Representative (CSR) Interview

      15 Mar 2021
      Anonymous employee
      Springfield, MO
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at T-Mobile (Springfield, MO) in Mar 2021

      Interview

Very easy, straightforward, and quick. Once you fill out an application, you will be directed to an assessment which is a couple of mock phone calls where you have to choose the best answers for the customers issue, and then you have a typing portion to see how accurately and quickly you can type the call notes. After a couple of days, I received an email that I passed the assessment and got a link for the hirevue portion of the interview. It consisted of 4 questions where you are using your webcam to record your answers to questions(they are the same for all applicants by the way!) and 3 written/MC questions. A background check came after that. Once that was submitted, I received an email to schedule my final virtual interview a couple of days later. It was a hiring manager at the call center and I was given info about the job and its benefits. I was then asked 5-6 behavioral questions and told I should hear back within a couple of days. I heard back within hours and received an offer to start within 2 weeks!

      Interview

It’s a grueling process. Do several interviews before you go in for an actual interview. It’s more like a mixer. Meet a variety of people then do a one on one.

      Easy interview

      Application

      Interview

The interview went well, but when they asked about my desired length of stay, I explained that I wanted to stay for a considerable time, but still launch or perhaps grow the company. The interviewer then went on a rant about how they thought they would only stay at this job for a short while, and their enthusiasm seemed to wane.
