I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Splunk in Mar 2019
Interview
I first spoke to a recruiter, who started the technical interview process.
I first had a 1 hour tech phone screen with a member of the team, and two days later, I received a Codility test, which was had 3 questions- for 2.5 hours - and it had an online grader, that I got a 100/100 on.
I got a reject a couple of days later. I assumed that I didn't make it through the tech screen. When I spoke to the recruiter, she said she was unaware of the tech test. She said she will look into it, and then scheduled a behavioral interview with the manager (I'm assuming that this was done to pacify me a since it made Splunk and the recruitment process look bad because I was rejected after I got a 100 on the coding test).
I got a reject a few days later. I don't know what to make of this, but it was a terrible experience.
Thank you for interviewing with us and taking the time to share your interview experience. We strive to be as transparent as possible in our recruitment process, so we sincerely apologize for the confusion around your coding assessment. Please feel free to share more about your experience at openconversation@splunk.com. - Mike Saltzman, Talent Acquisition
