I applied online. I interviewed at Samsara (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
Worst phone interview I ever had in history. The recruiter was very disengaged when she called. She asked only one question , tell me about yourself. After described the role and hang up. We only spoke for 5 mins and during those minutes I had to try so hard to keep the conversation going. This was a very negative experience and a waste of my time.
I applied online. I interviewed at Samsara in Nov 2019
Interview
Started with a 30-minute recruiter phone screen and was passed on to 30-minute 1:1 screen with hiring manager. HM spent 10 minutes on my background and resume, 10 minutes on the role itself, and 10 minutes on a market-sizing question.

The recruiting team was amazing! They are efficient, fast, and responsive. By far the most professional recruiting experience I have ever had. Usually interviewing is painful because of the long waits before decisions. However the Samsara recruiting team was transparent and very fast as far as updating you on the status of your application. (Shoutout to Jessica A and Sarah K.)
The growth operations team was also very impressive, while at the same time being friendly and approchable. The culture that I perceived within this team was of high performing collaboration. The team attitude was of using team learnings to improve and create new processes for the AEs.
Overall Samsara was by far the most professional interviewing experience I ever had the pleasure to go through. The growth team is also very impressive. Anyone would be lucky to join this company.
