I applied through an employee referral. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2019
Interview
Interviewing with Salesforce was a very smooth process. Unlike some other companies that I interviewed with, I worked with the same recruiter from the beginning of the process through the final offer. There was an initial phone screen, a 1:1 phone interview with the hiring manager, then a day of back-to-back interviews on-site. Communication was great throughout the process and my recruiter, Kerilinn Hite, was helpful, encouraging and transparent about what to expect. Overall, I was really impressed by both how quickly the process moved along despite the December holidays. It was a positive experience.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I signed an NDA, but questions were all very applicable to the role. I appreciated that there were no silly "gotcha" technical questions. Everything was relevant to the role and my experience. I feel like my interviewers actually spent some time reading my CV and asked me a lot of questions directly related to my work history and accomplishments. It was about a 60/40 mix of technical vs behavioral questions.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Salesforce (Hyderābād) in Apr 2016
Interview
It's unfortunate that there was no professionalism in the recruitment process in Hyderabad. My privacy was not respected. My candidature was disclosed to my ex-colleagues working in salesforce and the word reached to my current manager that I had attended an Interview. It was an embarrassing moment and affected my relationship with my employer. It's a basic hiring etiquette to maintain the privacy of the candidate until he has accepted the offer. I am disappointed and will not consider Salesforce for employment again.
