I applied through a referral and was contacted by their recruiter a week or so later. I completed 2 remote screening rounds. The first was the remote screening with two engineers and the second was a one hour Hackerrank challenge. I had to constantly follow up with the recruiters throughout the process as they messed up dates and gave me contradictory/incorrect information.
After clearing remote rounds I was invited to an onsite in San Francisco. I was stood up for over an hour by my first interviewer and could not reach the recruiter. Eventually, the recruiter got back to me and had someone escort me to the next round of the interview. The rest of the interview involved some pretty standard front-end questions.
After the onsite, the person who stood me up insisted on interviewing me remotely, and I had to accommodate several time changes for them. I was ghosted after this remote interview despite several follow up emails with recruiters. Eventually, over a month after the onsite, I got a stock rejection email from a recruiter.
Overall, I'd say this was a very negative and demeaning experience. I won't be applying for any roles with Salesforce in the future.
