I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce in Mar 2024
Difficult interview
Application
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Salesforce in May 2018
Interview
There were multiple rounds in the application process. The first two interviews were done by the HR Team and mostly focused on personal motivation to work in sales and at Salesforce. I was asked about my CV (quick summary) and what I know about Salesforce.
The third interview was with the Hiring Manager. This one went more into detail about my past internships in sales. Questions on what I would do in certain situations and how I would react.
The fourth interview was a presentation of a business case. You get the business case roughly a week before the interview and you have to basically pitch Salesforce as a solution to the client. I had two people in my panel. My hiring manager and another person from HR.
The fourth interview was with a different team lead. This interview was mostly focused on personal fit and my motivation. What kind of person I am, etc...
All in all the interviews were extremely pleasant and well done. I always felt comfortable during all conversations.
** Unfortunately one of the recruiters took almost 2 months to give me feedback between the 2nd and 3rd interview. I hope this was just an exemption to the rule. Beides that the interview process was well done. **
4 interviews in total. The first was with HR, second with a manager and the third was a business case. The last interview was a personality test. To the people who apply for this job; I strongly suggest you to do you preparation!

Question 1
Could you explain how you solved a problem you’ve had in the past using the starr-method.
Ridiculously long final interview for an entry level role. I was asked to take a day off of my annual leave for a 6 hour long assessment day. Required long hours of preparation after my working hours and I was asked to give a presentation on the day. I would not recommend employers dragging through candidates for this long and asking them to use their annual leave if the employers is not even sure about them at this stage. I found out that they were interviewing an other canditate for the same role and they were never meant to hire both us, opposed to what they said in the beginning. Recruiter never contacted me on her own about the outcome of the assessment day. I had to email her two weeks late to find out I did not get the offer.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Salesforce (Dublin, Dublin) in Dec 2022
Interview
I was approached for the bda role by a recruiter from Salesforce. I was pleasantly surprised by the research that was done prior to our conversation by the recruiter. The process was quite long but went very smooth and there were no unnecessary steps or questions.

The questions were mostly about the company, me and my prior experience in sales.
