I applied through other source. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce in Oct 2017
Interview
HR recruited me. There were 2 30-minute interviews with the hiring manager and a customer lead.
Then they advanced to an hour panel that I prepared for. I used every bit of information they had.
In the end, they did not offer because they really wanted an Account Manager. They said that the SFDC definition of a Program Manager is not what is typically in the workforce. A Senior Program Manager is actually an account manager. So while I was able to show them everything they asked for... how I would manage utilization.... how I would manage my own projects.... presenting ideas back to the customer, it was not an alignment.
HR was very responsive.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce in Jan 2024
Interview
Typical set up. Meet with Recruiter, hiring manager and then 2 more rounds (one with panel). Very quick turn around. Discussed examples of situations. Thought provoking questions, good conversation about the role and Salesforce culture.

Question 1
Tell me a time when you dealt with stakeholders with competing priorities.
Painfully slow and confusing. I didn't know what the next steps were or what to expect. I expected better from Benioff's team and was disappointed in the results. I just wish someone would have followed up with me afterwards. Got automated emails and did not reply to them.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (San Francisco, CA) in Nov 2021
Interview
The interview process was very well structured. Interviewers were warm & inviting. Each interviewer seemed to be prepared & had done their homework about my background/experience. They shared personal experiences on working at Salesforce and how they had adapted to WFH during Covid

Question 1
How would you run a strategic, large-scale program?
