      Neutral experience

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at SAP (Bangalore Rural) in Aug 2025

      Interview

Initially i was asked to introduce myself. Then he proceeded ask me a bit about my resume and project. I was asked to go in-depth into one of the projects and explain it's working and asked some questions about it. In my expense categorization app i had used xgboost algorithm which he asked me to explain. He asked one simple dsa question . Given n find the nth fibonaci number using recursion which i was able to do in a couple of minutes. He asked a lot of questions about OOPS and asked me to write a code in any language that shows the major concepts of OOPS like encapsulation, polymorphism, abstraction and inheritance. Since i didn't revise OOPS before the interview i was not able to fully answers these questions. He also asked a few behavioural questions even though this was supposed to be a purely technical interview. In the end he asked a logical question. Given 2 jugs of capacity 5 Litres and 3 Litres how can we measure 4Litres. I was able to solve it without much difficulty.

      Developer Interview

      11 Jun 2026
      Anonymous employee
      Brno
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at SAP (Brno) in Jun 2026

      Interview

3 rounds of interviews: quick prescreening call with HR, on-site meeting with the manager, and a tech call with the lead engineer. Prescreening was as usual. On the same day, I got a call from the manager and planned a second round for the next workday. The second round was the most important. First quick introduction, then easy puzzle, then 15 min of technical questions (OOP, basic programming principles, Relational DBs, etc) - pretty easy, nothing too deep. Then, about 40 minutes talk about previous experience, position, hobbies, and other basic topics. Very pleasant and friendly, good atmosphere. The third round was very quick - no live coding, a couple of architectural questions, static code analysis, and how to improve it (N+1 problem), SQL questions, overall around 10-15 minutes. Received an offer a couple of days after. The whole process was clean, friendly, and fast at every level.

      Question 1

How would you add a new PK to a table with 1 million entries? What is OOP? Explain polymorphism. What is relational DB? What is an index?
