I applied online. I interviewed at Riverside.FM (Toronto, ON) in Apr 2025
Interview
5 step interview but went very fast. First was with the recruiter, then a BDR manager, then an assignment, then with the head of BD, then with the CFO. It took about a week and a half then they did a reference check and proceeded with an offer. It got progressively more difficult but overall average difficulty for a sales role.
The interview process itself was clear and straightforward. I really appreciated that they didn't waste any time, and that they were very clear as to where I stood in the process. I also received regular updates from my recruiter, oftentimes minutes after completing an interview round.
All in all, it was a smooth process which I enjoyed from start to finish. I rated the interview difficulty as "Difficult" only because you can't just breeze through it. They expect you to come prepared and they ask tough, but fair questions. The take-home assignment requires critical thinking, but they give ample time for completion.

Question 1
I was asked to do a mock cold call on the fly without any prep beforehand. However, I was given a few minutes to gather my thoughts during the interview.

Overall the process was smooth, I was greatly assisted by Kourtney (Talent Acquisition) who was extremely helpful and professional throughout the process, and a joy to work with.
